Nottingham Forest Confirm Routledge Interest...

According to Chronicle reporter Lee Ryder, Forest chairman Nigel Doughty has confirmed they are in talks with Newcastle to secure the services of Wayne Routledge.

"He is somebody on our list, yes. I don't know if it will happen, but we are talking," Doughty said.

Routledge has fallen out of favor and Pardew has previously stated he has no plans for the winger. Newcastle have recently signed Sylvain Marveaux and with the return of Ben Arfa, Wayne's chacs are slim.

Routledge has not only fallen behind fellow wingers; Jonas, Sylvain and Ben Arfa, but also fallen behind central midefielders; Barton and Gosling to fight for a spot on the wing.
