For all the stick Pardew has received for not starting Ben Arfa, I give him credit for this interview. It seems Pardew has always realised how big Arfa can be for the magpies but its just the case of "finding a way to get him on the pitch". Its just a matter of accomodating him and I'm sure AP will get it right soon.
The first half against Sunderland was awful to watch, the usual route one excercise cancelling out Cabaye's ball skills and thus wasting his strong suits. When Ben Arfa came on, Cabaye came to life and we saw a more fluent Newcastle who played on the carpet. I hope Parew see's this as neither of Ba and Cisse are players suited to direct football.
We play Arsenal next, so will Ben Arfa start and will Pardew change his formation and style? A big ask at this stage of the season, but we cant win ugly all the time.
